Things to do for Eid Al Adha in Dubai!

Written by

Eid Al Adha is dawning upon us and there is so much to do in and around Dubai, we thought we would share our top ten recommendations!

1.Looney toons “Who stole my chicken”

Now we know Eid is a festive time for all but it is always extra special for the little ones and although everyone loves to feast, greet family and friends and celebrate, you can’t forget the Little ones! Ibn Battuta Mall is hosting the looney too form the 8-17th September! Featuring Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny and Taz, come enjoy the live entertainment!

2. Indulge in the new shopping experience!

City walk has prided itself in hosting the most fabulous and iconic restaurants and a few shops in the past but now the newly refurbished open shopping space has some top brands, fantastic cafe’s and dinning experiences, and there’s even something for the children, there’s a play area and a new arcade for the older ones!

3. Rent a yacht!

If you have a big family and you are all around, why not book a yacht, take it out, some music, food and a few drinks! In my heart and opinion, Eid is a time to bond with family and friends we may not get to see regularly, invite that uncle or cousin you haven’t seen in weeks or that friend you have been meaning to see but work and other commitments have just been pilling on! Everyone gets Eid off! You have no excuse and with the weather mellowing a little, a yacht could be the perfect idea!

4. Have a spa day!

If you are looking for a relaxing Eid, need some YOU time? Why not book yourself in for a spa day or afternoon with a friend or 2? A few we would recommend are; Talise @ Madinat Jumeirah, Amara @ Park Hyatt, and the One and Only Royal Mirage spa @ Dubai Media city! Or you could just meet your girlfriends for a mani/pedi! Treat yourself on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

5. Take a desert safari!

You would be surprised at how popular these are with tourists! I have known many people who holidays regularly in Dubai and go on a desert safari EVERY TIME they visit Dubai! However, with locals and residents, where’s the time? It is also shocking that many residents have never or only ONCE been on a desert safari, and they’ve lived in Dubai all their lives! Take a family or friends desert safari, enjoy the entertainment, take in the atmosphere away from the city! Eid Al Adha break is a great chance to do those things you don’t have time for!

6. Take a trip to Another Emirate!

Whether its the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi or the hills of Fujerah, or the mountains of Ras Al Khaima, get out and explore the country you reside! There’s always some great Groupon or cobble deals for hotels and stays! You could go to the roller coaster restaurant in Abu Dhabi, or Relax at the hilton Spa in RAK or Enjoy the family atmosphere at Korfokkan beach in Fujerah!

Don’t forget to send us your pictures and #MyDxbBlogDubai with your Eid pictures! We love hearing about our readers experiences and travels!
