Yesterday I visited Sufra @ Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel for Iftar. Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights is located in Dubai HealthCare City, a few minutes walk from Wafi Mall. It was my first visit to Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, However thankfully the hotel was easy to locate and as there was not much traffic, I was able to reach my destination easily. The Sufra restaurant serves Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Indian and Western speciality food..
One thing which makes Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights really a must visit place for you this Ramadan, is that it has again partnered with Al Jalila Foundation, donating one dirham for every Iftar meal bought. Al Jalila Foundation is a global philanthropic organization dedicated to transforming lives through medical education and research. Founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, (Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai) in April 2013, in order to position Dubai and the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation.

Iftar at Sufra, Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights
Sufra Ambience.
I arrived at the restaurant a little early so I could take some pictures without any disturbance, as its easy to take pictures and maneuver when restaurants have no guests. Overall, the restaurant’s decor was traditional, simplistic but elegant. The table arrangement was done very well and the staff made sure one can enjoy a calm, relaxing Iftar with your friends and family . I really loved the way food was showcased, also the live stations where the food was being made right in front of you. One could also make requests based on your choice to chefs. A nice personal touch.
Staff at Sufra Is amazing.
I love places where the staff knows how to tale care of guests. My experience at Sufra was just that, everyone was really helpful and greeted guests with smiles, The chef’s at the live stations were very helpful and didn’t mind sharing their knowledge about the food they were making. So they were not only making food but they also shared the background knowledge about everything they were serving. I am also thankful to Lara who came down to see me at the restaurant and gave me a little bit of an overview about the hotel.
Food at Sufra Is Delicious.
Sufra had a vast variety of food to choose from (I have posted a menu below). Which made it really hard for me, as being alone, I wanted to try everything, but unfortunately I was only able to try half of the things, and everything was delicious. I have visited many places however there are very few places where no matter what food item you pick is delicious, and well cooked. This was one of those. That alone showed how talented the chef’s at the Sufra restaurant were. They had a perfect selection of salad which i really enjoyed. I also loved the Arabic Chicken wings and Moroccan dips.. and enjoyed Lamb kibbeh, Lamb kofta, Zatar Saj, and Prawn Majboos. However one thing which I really loved was the whole lamb ouzi, I really loved how the lamb was cooked, the texture and its taste was simply amazing.
If you guys have read my previous reviews you would know I always love desserts. However due to the deliciousness of the whole lamb ouzi i couldn’t try many desserts except Mouhalabia and Tiramisu which were again perfectly made.
