Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah Review!

This week I decided to review Radisson Blu Resort, Sharjah. Which is one of the top resorts in Sharjah. Its stunning building design makes it one of the Iconic buildings of Sharjah and always attracted me towards it. It is located on Corniche Street, which makes it easily accessible and you will have no problem finding the resort as all the taxi drivers know this its location. It is Just a few minutes away from Sharjah Expo center and other local attractions.
The facilities available in the resort make it an ideal destination for business and leisure travelers. With 306 magnificent rooms, suites and poolside cabanas, 5 beautiful restaurants and splendid meeting rooms everything you could wish for.

I arrived at the hotel around 4 P.M and was greeted by the reception staff and also Zunera Bilwani, PR and marketing coordinator came down to see me. The Check in process was a breeze the staff were very polite and welcoming.
prior to entering the room, I struggled to open the door. Due to some reason it took a while to open the door, Unfortunately I had this problem throughout my stay (The problem seemed to be with the door card reader which I was assured it will be fixed).
When I finally got in the room, it was very spacious and comfortable, the curtains were lovely and I really loved the view of Sharjah creek from my room.

The bathroom had plenty of space, was very clean, and they had provided ironing facilities which makes things easier for many people as they can iron their clothes themselves.
I am also thankful to the resort staff for sending in a goodie pack including; dates and apples which was a great gesture. The room service was quick and polite and didn’t take long whenever I needed something.  The bed was very comfortable, however there was a bit of noise coming whenever a boat crossed the nearby channelat night. However, as I am not a light sleeper that wasn’t a big problem for me. Also considering the great view from my windows, I really didn’t mind about the noise.

The hotel has 5 restaurants including Calypso, The Terrace, Chillout Café , Canton Chinese restaurant and Cafe At The Falls.
I Went to Café At The Falls for dinner and breakfast buffet. They charge 138 per head for dinner buffet. The Staff was very polite and friendly and their food was quiet tasty. What I really liked about the restaurant was its ambiance, which takes you away from the Arabian Peninsula, for a while you feel like having you’re dinner in the forest. The waterfall and the fish inside the small pond just make it more beautiful.

Calypso is a pool side restaurant with international cuisine and serves Mock tails and fresh juices with beautiful ocean view. Its opening Hours are 10 AM to 10 PM.
The Terrace is another outdoor dining restaurant with beautiful views offers the views of the city and is the perfect place to enjoy a game of Football.
Chillout Café is 24-hour café, a perfect place where you can meet and have a cup of coffee with your friends.

Canton Chinese restaurant is the place for you if you are one of those who love Chinese Cuisine, with its décor making you feel like you are in China.
The resort offers a variety of recreational activities including 4 beautiful temperature-controlled swimming pools, 2 for kids and 2 for adults, with stunning views of the Arabian sea. They also offer plenty of water sports including scuba diving, Sailing, Boat Cruise, Jet Ski, Kayaking and many other motorized and non motorized sports. They also arrange daily events like beach volley Ball and Table tennis as well. For children there is a dedicated Children’s Fun Zone where they can play and enjoy their time as well.
The resort also offers 2 tennis courts and 2 Gyms (One women only facility) and Saunas (separate for men and women).

Another thing I really liked about the resort is its specious private beach with white sand and gardens. It is a very spacious resort making it possible for you to take rest from your busy daily life and enjoy your day at a calm, clean, beautiful and a spacious beach.
