It was one of the first projects in its region to incorporate shopping with different cultures, entertainment and leisure.from the musical fountain, to rides and worldwide hubs all trapped in one location, you will surely suffer from jet lag after you have visited global village! There is everything from our own UAE, Africa to India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Singapore, Afghanistan, Yemen, Malaysia, the UK, Spain and so on… Each pavilion represents a different country, and we have had the chance to visit it many times, so we thought we would share our experiences!
Where do we start? The experience begins as soon as you step foot into Global village with the traditional camel milk, Arabic coffee and camels to greet you… It is a heart warming meeting upon arrival.. As you venture onto the pavilions; Africa’s culture, Qatar’s sweet delights, Egypt’s history,  The spectacular musical fountains and the hustle and bustle of the rides for all the family to enjoy! There is endless fun and activities to do! Thailand’s culture, dances and performances all over as the place is surrounded by music and culture, shopping and entertainment.
The little tea shops and stalls, the camper food stalls and small restaurants bursting with aromatic, delicacy’s from all over the world from the simplest potato chips to Turkish delights and Pakistani samosas and fresh honey pots from the gulf! A range of restaurants, cafes and kiosks for you to explore!  There is also a Krispy Kremes, Hardeez, Pizza Hut and KFC for those who want something they know!

The island has a funfair, games and thrilling rides for all ages! There is definitely something for everyone!
