Top sheesha Cafes in Dubai- My picks!

Written by

As you may have noticed I do a lot of “My picks” posts, whereby I share personal picks of  certain places or services! This week I wanted to reach out to all you sheesha smokers and share a few places I have personally been to! From the ladies smoke free to the views, and the drinks, If you smoke sheesha, you will certainly enjoy at least ONE of these places if not more!

1.QDS! For its ambiance and location

This place is great on so many levels, I don’t know where to start! I can remember the first time I went I thought it was called QTs, so I made a pun on it; cuties? QTs? Get it? Ok, aside from my awful humour this place is by the Dubai creek and serves great sheesha! it is located on the dubai creek, so the views are astonishing, it is a great Thursday night after work spot! They serve BBQ, snacks and Pizza! The service and chilled environment definable impressed me! They also serve alcohol at the bar, but the 21+ rule applies, as with everywhere in the UAE.

2. Shakespeare and Co

This is also a restaurant, most commonly known for their food, but they also do sheesha! With locations all around from the deserted Silicon Oasis to Sheikh Zayed Road (Shown above),  and Souq Al Bahar, You are bound to find one near you or somewhere you can travel! We have reviewed the restaurant here, so do check it out! The ambiance, the staff and the food is so good… throwing a after dinner sheesha in, or sheesha with light snacks from any of their branches is a wise move! We love love love Shakespeare and Co!

3. Shimmers- The perfect beach drop sheesha

Although not the most expensive sheesha around, some may consider this place expensive. Located in the iconic Madinat Jumeirah, it definitely aims to please they eyes and the mind! There is a minus spend on the food, drinks and sheesha in the evening but if you haven’t had sheesha before, or felt the ambiance, this might be a nice place to start! With attentive and smiling staff on hand and jaw dropping views out onto the coast, you’re definitely in for a good night of sheesha, drinks and chill here!

4. Indulgence cafe: International City

This ones more for the youths or people who live in and around the area, I have only been a handful of times but it is a great place to watch the sports (A popular one for the India vs Pakistan cricket matches and occasional football leagues!) They have games, foods and it is a great place if you don’t want to splash the cash. The service is friendly and average and the company is mostly males, but they don’t discriminate! Personally never had the food, but the pasta seems to be a big hit!? Also the blueberry sheesha is one a I would personally recommend!

5. Orchestra- @ The Dubai Mall

This is another restaurant, rather than just a set sheesha cafe with snack, I discovered this place on Eid one year and with views of the Burj, The Souq, and the fountain show, you can’t go wrong. Their outside terrace looks directly down onto the fountain area and it is quite the romantic spot! A great huge thumbs up from me! The sheesha is long lasting and flavoursome! I would recommend the grape and mint or watermelon from here, paired with a fresh juice, it can be quite an evening!

6. Hubbly Bubbly!

This is another one with not just one branch, but two.. The one I would personally recumbent is the one on Umm Hureir Rd, by Wafi mall. The ambience is chilled and casual. It is not one of the most attractive looking venues but it is certainly mot ugly either! It is well known for its great service and even better sheesha!

7. Exit Cafe

In the same strip as hubby bubbly, I am not sure if they still do this deal but I once went with a few friends and they used to have a “Ladies Sheesha free” offer. i went a few times with friends to play cards, chill and have some juice or sheesha, its far from extravagant but the service and staff are very friendly and like a good joke or conversation!

8. Last but not least; Al Sarab Rooftop lounge

The Iconic Al Sarab

The Iconic Al Sarab

if you like your views a bit different fro the rest, this might be one for you! With views o the astonighin Bab al shams resort, this rooftop lounge is the perfect place for a sheesha, experiencing the middle eastern culture, in the heart of the middle east culture and roots; it is located a bit outside the city, but its worth the travel, especially at sunset! It may be last on my list but by NO means is it the worst! I love this place!
